3. Using Material on the SPOTT Website
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it including the SPOTT Data.
SPOTT Data refer to all tabular data, including all assessment, scores and profile data, indicator frameworks and research protocols, downloadable from the SPOTT Website as comma-separated values (CSV) and/or portable document format (PDF) files.
You may view, download and print extracts of the SPOTT Data or any pages from our site for your personal or commercial use (see section 5 on No Reposting, Redistribution, or Publication of the SPOTT Data) and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on our site.
You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video, or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
4. Rules About Linking to the SPOTT Website
You may link to any public page on our site, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
Our site must not be framed on any other site, and you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

5. Acknowledgements and Citation
The recipient of the data will provide full acknowledgement and citation (which includes reference to the version of the SPOTT Data used) in any materials or publications derived in part or in whole from the data; relevant citation (including version) details are provided with each dataset. For any publications making significant use of the data, ZSL welcomes the opportunity for collaboration, and possible co-authorship, and to comment prior to publication to ensure correct interpretation of the SPOTT Data. 6. No Reposting, Redistribution, or Publication of the SPOTT Data
You are not permitted to repost or redistribute to any third party any SPOTT Data in their original format, either whole or in part, alone or combined with other data, including within Derivative works without the prior written permission of ZSL.
If you wish to publish the SPOTT Data or a Derivative Work based on the SPOTT Data, or provide a service through which SPOTT Data are otherwise made available for reposting or redistribution, please contact ZSL directly using the contact details below.
You agree to direct all requests from third parties for access to SPOTT Data obtained from the SPOTT Website to the address stated in the Contact Information section.
7. Restricted Access
Access to certain areas of the SPOTT Website is restricted. ZSL reserves the right to restrict access to other areas of the SPOTT Website, or indeed the entire SPOTT Website, at ZSL’s discretion.
If ZSL provides you with a user account to access restricted areas of the SPOTT Website (i.e. login), you must ensure that the account details and your password are kept confidential and must not disclose it to any third party.
The minimum information that ZSL requires to register you (i.e. signup) is your name, email address and password. ZSL will contact you via the email address provided to confirm your registration or changes to your user account. ZSL may ask you for more optional details about yourself and relating to different services, including the permission to send you news by email.
Any information collected will be used in accordance with the ZSL Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old before registering for a user account. You agree to notify ZSL immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or account identifiers by others.
8. SPOTT Website Updates
Unless required to do so for specific analysis, you should not use any version of the SPOTT Data after it has been superseded by a subsequent version. It is your responsibility to check that you are using the latest version available via the SPOTT website.

To keep the SPOTT Website and SPOTT Data up to date, We would welcome feedback on the quality, reliability and accuracy of the data. Such contributions should be free of restrictions, and ZSL commits to provide appropriate acknowledgement and credit for any such contributions. 14. Termination
ZSL may terminate this agreement at any time, effective immediately, with or without prior notice. Termination of this agreement automatically terminates your license to use the SPOTT Website and SPOTT Data and any content or other material contained therein.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by English law. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising under or pursuant to this User Agreement shall be settled by mutual agreement. If the Parties are unable to reach agreement on any question in dispute, either party shall have the right to request arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law. The Parties agree to be bound by any arbitration ruling rendered in accordance with the above, as the final adjudication of any such dispute. Nothing contained in or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a waiver, express or implied, of the privileges and immunities of ZSL.
16. Miscellaneous
The provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall inure to the benefit of ZSL and its third-party content providers and licensors. No waiver by any party hereto of any of the provisions hereof or of any breach or other default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.

Reposting
Reposting involves publishing SPOTT Data in a largely unmodified form, in whole or in part, alone or combined with other data, by any means including (but not limited to) electronic formats such a website or internet posting. If the data reposted are also made available for download, then the act of downloading falls under Redistribution.
Redistribution
Redistribution involves distributing or transmitting SPOTT Data to any third party, in whole or in part, by any means including (but not limited to) electronic formats such as web downloads, through web services such as APIs, through interactive web maps that grant users download access, shapefiles, keyhole markup language (KML) files or file transfer protocols, electronic mailing, redistributing via a computer network, digital storage, memory stick, or any other electronic media or device. Sub-licensing and reselling are forms of Redistribution.
Derivative works (Derivatives)
A Derivative work is a new work that is based upon all, or part, of the SPOTT Data. To be considered a Derivative work, the new work must be transformative and include originality on the part of the creator, otherwise it may simply be considered Reposting or Redistribution, depending on the way the new work is made available.
